Below are links to PDF files of J.S. Bach's Two Part Invention No 9 in F minor, BWV 780, in various alternative notation systems.

This first PDF file was made by John Keller's Finale transnotation method.

J.S. Bach's 2 Part Invention No 9 in F minor: four chromatic notations:

Express Stave (Keller),

Black Triangle Twinline (Reed, var Keislar),

6-6 Tetragram (Parncutt),

Quasi-Isomorph (Wojcik, var Keller),

Traditional Notation.

The following files are first-step approximations towards various systems and were created by Kevin Dalley using his modified version of the open-source Lilypond notation software.

Here is text quoted from his website, kelphead.org:

"All of the non-traditional scales are created using a single template file. A script make-invention-09 is run to create the files. The entire directory is available for viewing. The non-traditional notations use a 4-octave continuous staff."

"There is one common data file bach-invention-09-common.ly which is included in both the template file and the traditional notation file."

"This example is J. S. Bach's Invention 9, from the Mutopia project. I made a few changes to the original file to produce the output, so that the chromatic staffs were used. For the most part, the note section is the same. However, the lower staff in the original switches between bass and treble, which was modified in the chromatic version. Otherwise, the notes are the same in both examples. The chromatic version is slightly awkward."
