This category is for musical instruments, but pages in it should ideally have some connection with notation. For example, presentations of alternative instruments are welcome, if the instruments embody principles that are also applicable to alternative notation systems. Isomorphic keyboards are one example, as they embody a principle (namely, the identical or similar appearance of intervals in all transpositions) that is also seen in a number of chromatic notation systems. This category also covers notation problems concerning traditional instruments.
